Mr. Rexford utilizes the mundane and extraordinary to explore themes of mortality, survival, and renewal. The photos frame the natural world to showcase its beauty and delicacy, but also the need to correct the climate. Elsewhere, Mr. Rexford’s work explores social structures, including commercial enterprises and family relationships.
